Semi Auto Gas Filling Device

Description

This consists of the following:

• Gas Pipe of app. 2 meter Length with two Pressure Gauges. One pressure Gauge measures the pressure of Oxygen cylinder and second pressure gauge is adjusted at a fix pressure of app. 30 atmosphere so that gas being released should not exceed the adjusted pressure limit.

• Control Unit

• Function: The pressure adjusted at the pressure gauge for filling the gas remains fixed until it is changed manually or oxygen cylinder is replaced. Fix the nozzle of gas pipe on Combustion bomb and push a button on control unit. Gas will start filling the Bomb and supply will cut off automatically as soon as the adjusted pressure is achieved.

This avoid the over filling of the gas in Bomb and thereby is a key feature towards the safety of the user.

Since pressure gauge is not required to be adjusted with each experiment the gas cylinder can be kept outside the room to achieve more safety.
